"FROM THE GROUND TO THE SOUND" - HANDMADE FALLEN BRANCH FLUTES
Welcome to SOUL OF THE EARTH FLUTES - "Fallen Branch" Native American style flutes created entirely without the use of power tools. My approach to flutemaking is to follow in the tradition of the ancient ones...Giving life to a branch taken from the forest floor, I return the gift to our Earth Mother, a gift reborn to spread joy and peace through its voice. Each flute is hand gouged, shaped & sanded. Soundholes are burned in and accurately tuned. Most flutes fall into the F or G range pentatonic minor scale of tuning, depending on the branch. They will ALWAYS be accurately tuned to themselves, ideal for meditative solo playing. If you desire a flute tuned to 440 for use with other instuments, don't hesitate to ask. Decorative woodburning patterns are applied along with a handmade beaded flute wrap by Turtle Spirit Creations. All flutes are finished with an FDA approved oil and lovingly tested for quality. Listen to a "Soul of the Earth" flute Being of a rustic nature, "Fallen Branch" flutes sing with a huskier voice than machined flutes, but with a beauty all their own. I am an artist and musician/composer, so be assured if I would'nt record with it myself, it's not leaving my shop. A one week return period is granted. If you don't feel a connection to your flute, I will glady accept it back in new condition and refund your money minus shipping charges. Currently SOUL OF THE EARTH FLUTES are only created on a commission basis. It takes about 2 weeks for me to create a flute. Flutes can be created from your supplied branch, but there are no guarantees of success. Not all branches wish to become flutes!
