For over 20 years the Bayard Cutting Arboretum on Long Island has been a source of inspiration, contemplation,....peace.

I never tire of walking its paths or kayaking along its shores. This collection of pieces for piano and fretless bass is my tribute. May it convey some of the magic and wonder I have experienced within this special place.
